Some people choose to leave as soon as there is a total fire ban, our decision is to stay and then leave early if a fire is posing a threat to our area. We monitor the CFA website for updates and remain vigilant should we need to evacuate quickly, but our lives can’t be packed up whenever the mercury climbs. Remain alert, react quickly and in most cases you will be fine.

We had a lovely family holiday on the Great Ocean Road, and feel that it is a wonderful holiday idea for families. The idea of renting out a holiday house for the week, was brilliant, as it meant the kids were more settled and had more room to run around. Do the Great Ocean Road if you haven’t already, it truly is amazing!
